Today is Amanda and my 5 year wedding anniversary. My how we have changed! The first pic is from our honeymoon in Mexico. The second pic is about a month ago on our vacation in Arkansas.
My name is Neill Harmer, I reside in Bethany, Oklahoma, I work in the web industry. I love to take pictures, update my Twitter and Facebook.
I workout a TON swimming, running & biking and call myself a triathlete!
Oh, I almost forgot. My wife and I were on Season 5 of NBC's The Biggest Loser.

Amanda and my vacation to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Had a great time, from hiking to canoeing to relaxing.

Pics from the Lighthouse Triathalon. Too bad no pics on the bike, being that it was my first event with the new bike.
First thought when I saw these: I REALLY need to get a body lift! Damn stomach/love handles. Wonderful leftovers from a life of excess food. Let this be a lesson to you kids, just don’t get fat.

Blowing out the candles.

Is that REALLY Spiderman? Yes it is!

Closeup of the cake.

Kid got a TON of loot!
Aiden had an AWESOME birthday party. Our backyard looked like a Marvel truck spilled all its Spiderman decor … but Aiden loved it.
Seeing his face when Spiderman came out to say Hi, and give him a gift or two was the highlight of the kids life I think so far. He’s not stopped talking about it since!

Aiden’s first ride in a go-kart. Kid was so excited, but really wanted to drive. As we got into the go-kart he kept sitting behind the wheel! I had to pick him up and move him 3 times to be in his seat. Once he resigned to the fact that I was driving he loved it!

Matt and I did our last organized 5k of the year. The Panera Bread 5k at Lake Hefner in OKC. It was one of the hardest I’ve done…but also the best time I’ve put up!
First off, let me set the stage. It was on the south and east side of the lake, 30 degrees, 20-30mph winds blowing south east.
The first half of the race was face into the wind. It was on average 20mph, but some of those gusts were up to 30mph easy! It was HARD and it took alot out of you. I was passing people on the first half, which is pretty rare for me, and felt really good the whole run…except for the watering eyes from the wind, and the occasional runny nose.
My ending time was 29:19. Which is the best I’ve put up on an oranized race, I’ve put up a 25 min time on the treadmill a bit back. That is an average of 9:09 min miles, which is about right for me, I seem to be more of a pace running instead of a speed running, because even on my long runs I average 9-10 min miles. Which will be respectable half and full marathon times whenever I run those!
My next event is the March in Okarche duathlon (5k run/30k bike/5k run) on March 28th. This will be my second duathlon, and I’m excited. Already have my fingers crossed for better weather conditions than we’ve had the last few races!
