My favorite body part, for those that know me KNOW it’s my calves. Hands down, no question. Hell, even when I was fat I liked the shape of em. That love affair has gotten worse since losing mass amounts of weight and now I check my calves out alot. And nerdily enough take pictures to document the changes. (For the record, I take full body shots too, but I only really show the calves, because I am most proud of them!)
The last measurements I have for my calves are: September 2008: 17inches. January 2009: 16 1/2 inches.
They have gotten smaller, which makes me sad…but WAY more cut. I honestly don’t think this picture does it justice.
All in all since September of last year, when I took the last measurements, I’ve lost lots of inches, but not as much weight as I’d prefer. Which I guess is okay, because I did go through a bulking phase for a while.
I’ve lost: 1/2 inch on my bicepts. 1/2 inch on my neck. 2 inches on my chest. No change in thigh. 1/2 inch on my calf. 1 inch on my waist.
Still exciting times! I should put up some good inches this month or so, as I am back to low calories and exercising for weight loss. I need to get some of this extra weight off in preparation for triathlon/marathon season!

Those calves were legendary in high school. They are back and way better than they were!
