Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead.
3.5 out of 5 stars.
This was a very powerful movie, I am sure I will still be thinking about it come tomorrow morning. It revovles around two brothers, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke, robbing a jewlery store. Come to find out, the store was owned by their parents, in which people get shot and killed. It shows the downward spiral that happens after the brothers find out it was their parents.
It goes to show what a stupid idea that goes awry can do to your life and how it can spiral out of control.
I love the quote at the begining of the movie, “May you have thirty seconds in heaven, before the devil knows your dead”.
