The Golden Compass.
4 out of 5 stars.
So I finally got to watch The Golden Compass. When it came out I was right smack dab in the middle of Biggest Loser stuff, so it just never happened for us to see this in the theatre.
I am glad I got to see it, I can totally see why the religious right had such a huge issue with it. Other than the fact that a reputed atheist wrote it and has admitted it was geared towards...

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead.
3.5 out of 5 stars.
This was a very powerful movie, I am sure I will still be thinking about it come tomorrow morning. It revovles around two brothers, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke, robbing a jewlery store. There Will Be Blood
3 out of 5 stars.
Not quite as much blood as I thought there would be from the title…but what blood there was, was quite graphic! Daniel Day-Lewis was AMAZING to say the least in his role as the prospector, he was cold, ruthless and very much so someone you did not want to like, but could not helping loving him! He was a horrible person, horrible father and human being in general…but...

Run Fatboy Run
3.5 out of 5 stars.
This was a very funny movie, but it was a bit predictable. It stars Simon Pegg, Thandie Newton and Hank Azaria.
Dennis (Pegg) runs out on his wedding to a very pregnant Elizabeth (Newton), regrets that decision 5 years later and tries to win her back by competing in a full marathon. Whit (Azaria) is Elizabeths current boyfriend who is also running in the same marathon. The...
